This was our second year in a row being at Epcot and this year we did it better, even if we did get rained on.
We started by watching "O, Canada" the 360 degree film narrated by Martin Short. As far as the film goes, I think this is one of the best of the countries in 360 films and it doesn't make me queasy.
When it was over it was pouring but we didn't have far to go. We had reservations at Le Cellier.
Being a party of two has it's benefits because we always seem to get in very quickly even when we'd show up early. Disney doesn't take reservations but instead have ADRs Advanced Seating Reservations don't guarantee you a time. What they do is try and get you a table within 15 minutes of your ADR. Parties of two are easier to seat because we fit in spots they can't fit anyone else.
I wish I could but I don't remember what Province we were seated in. We weren't far from the bathroom which works well for me. We were given some time to look the menu over while our server brought our drinks.
I let Jim get the appetizer for 2 because none sounded good to me and he wanted roasted duck meatballs.(I let him have mine.) I had the filet mignon without the mushroom risotto.
Instead I had cream cheese mashed potatoes. Jim had it with the risotto. For desert I had the cute s'mores desert while Jim had the Whiskey chocolate cake.
It was all quiet good but when all you eat is steak all week you become a harsher critic. We ate there again later in the week and it was better.
This does not end Canada Day festivities. Even though it was raining a bit, rain doesn't stop us. We stood outside and listened to Off Kilter, a great Celtic rock band that rocked home that Canada Day feeling, bagpipes and all!

Off Kilter
This is the second year in a row we have been at Epcot on July 1st. July 1st is Canada Day. Now until recently LeCellier was my favorite thing about Canada. Now it's a close second.
We have discovered Off Kilter, a Celtic Rock band that is so good we actually searched them out twice and sat through their whole set, once in the rain. The band of five includes bagpipe music, kilts, and a lot of rock into their Celtic sound. They played a mix of songs we knew and traditional songs we didn't but those were great too. We came to find out that the live music, especially at Epcot is something we've really missed out on in the past. We won't in the future.
I also need to order their albums from their website www.offkilter.net

EPCOT and Princesses
Our breakfast today was at EPCOT in Norway. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall was where we met Belle and had our picture taken with her. This was before we were shown to our table and shown the buffet. We filled our plates and as we sat down,Aurora arrived. Jim had his picture taken with her while I had mine taken with Mary Poppins, Ariel, and Cinderella. It was great fun! The food had a Norwegian twist and we found out? our last name -Klemme means "hugs" in Norwegian but just like for every little girl there, the highlight was the princesses. Don't worry, pictures will follow.
As will details of the rest of the day

The pre-page is good to go. A few things will be added but I think this page is set for our trip. I can't wait for so many parts of this day! A princess breakfast, LeCellier, and I love to shop the countries. I love all my Disney days but this is a great one!
